looks like a clone of the Colt 1849; mfg. from 1864-1869; 5-shot double action; 4" Oct. BBL; estimated that 15,000 were made and this piece has SN#6200 w/all matching numbers; Some evidence of early restoration yet there's holster wear at the muzzle; Cylinder is plain w/no engraving and does have the typical 5 rectangular safety notches between the nipples at the rear of the cylinder; Beautiful patina on brass trigger guard and backstrap; no FFL transfer needed
