250+ Lots of High-Grade & Premium Firearms! Best of the Best in the Midwest!
firearm is in amazing near perfect condition; 8" Round BBL; case hardened receiver; wood grips; brass trigger guard and bottom pistol strap; case hardened plunger; etched cylinder, bluing on cylinder has faded, if you look at the bottom portion that has not moved it's still blue, top and sides have faded to an almost stainless look; I don't believe this firearm has ever been fired; Cylinder is marked "Colt's Patent No. 494 - Pat. Sept. 10th 1850"; top of barrel is "- Address Col. SamL Colt New - York U.S. America-"; mechanism makes the correct 3-clicks to cock; all SN# matching of 204494; everything on this firearm appears to be legit and the real deal; I believe this to an original early Colt that is unfired, but I can not be 100% positive; please use your own judgement and research; an extremely rare firearm and one would be proud to own in your collection; story from owner is it came from an old gentleman that purchased the gun in the early 1900's for his son; the son died shortly after in an accident so the gun was never gifted, hence why it was never fired; No Transfer is needed
