High Quality IH & CaseIH Farm Toy Auction followed by 2,000+ Pieces of 1/64th Scale!
Wakonda Legion Hall, Wakonda, SD 57073200+ High Quality IH & CaseIH Farm Toys from a premier IH Collector and a former IH Dealer's Estate. Following those toys will be 2,000+ Pieces of New in the Package 1/64th Scale from Windier Stills Farm Toys.
WOW, this is the first 28ga. we've ever had the opportunity to offer! These are extremely rare and seldom come up for sale; 26" Solid Rib BBL; smooth action; Highly engraved receiver w/dog & partridge scenes on both sides; I looked very closely and could not find a signature in the engraving; SN#748327 dates this gun to 1937 which according to the Gun Blue Book Digest, is the first year of production for the 28ga.!; Modified choke making it a field grade and NOT a skeet version like most you find; 2-7/8" chamber; beautiful wood with great color and wood grain; can't say enough about this firearm! We did not disassemble this firearm to check the back of the receiver to see if it is stamped 28, BUT the correct notch in the shell extractor is there; owner has owned this gun for 30+ years and was bought on a farm auction in northern South Dakota; this is a true collector grade firearm and one anyone would be proud to add to their gun library!
