From Cathy Scheibe--When Claire needed an original tractor for the museum he took Mike’s out of his bedroom closet to put on display. After a few years the decals were in really bad shape. I was able to get a pristine one from Fred Ertl’s collection. He would always have 6 of everything the company made put aside for him. He gave me this near perfect one when he came for Claire’s celebration of life. For years I have been looking for Fred’s tractor. I just found out from Mike that it was in the museum and he took his back and replaced it with the one we have for sale. It does not have the original label because we put all of the labels on the show tractors ourselves and of course the ones put away for Fred didn’t have the label. It is the original box. (We do have a few of these labels that could be given to whoever buys the tractor).

paint is mint, the right hand decal is cracking, flaws; This represents the 2nd Toy Farmer which was issued in 1979. No Box. it does have the letter of authenticity which is Framed.

This was the only gold tractor for produced for the Toy Farmer Series until 1985. This is believed to be the only one produced. A Very Rare Piece!!!

this is the Prototype of the 1981 Case 2590, it has the Toy Farmer Decal, it does not have the engraving embossed into it. As with all Prototype it will possibly have flaws or paint imperfections.
